An original Italian Locandina theatrical movie poster from a 1990s re-release of 101 Dalmatians (1961), the classic Walt Disney animated family adventure.

This is a genuine vintage Italian cinema poster produced for a theatrical re-release, not a modern reproduction.

Format: Italian Locandina
Size: 34 x 70 cm (13¼ x 27½ inches)
Original film release: 1961
Italian poster release: 1990s re-release

Condition: Minor edge wear, with a slight wave through the centre caused by the poster having been stored folded alongside other posters. Please examine the photographs carefully for full condition details.

101 Dalmatians follows Pongo and Perdita, two Dalmatian dogs whose puppies are kidnapped by the villainous Cruella de Vil, who plans to use their distinctive spotted coats to create a fur coat.

With the help of other animals across the English countryside, Pongo and Perdita embark on a daring rescue mission to save their puppies and the other Dalmatian puppies held captive by Cruella's henchmen.

Produced by Walt Disney Productions and directed by Clyde Geronimi, Hamilton Luske and Wolfgang Reitherman, the film became one of Disney's most successful and recognisable animated features.

Originally released in 1961, 101 Dalmatians has remained popular with generations of audiences, particularly for its distinctive animation style, memorable characters and the iconic villain Cruella de Vil.

This original Italian Locandina was produced for a theatrical re-release during the 1990s, offering collectors an authentic example of international Disney cinema advertising.

The tall, narrow Locandina format is particularly associated with Italian film promotion and provides an attractive alternative to larger theatrical posters.

An appealing original Disney collectible for enthusiasts of classic animation, family cinema and vintage Italian movie posters.
