2001 re-release French "petite" poster for Stanley Kubrick's 2001: A Space Odyssey (1968), measuring 15¾" × 20¾" (40 × 53 cm) in folded format. Kubrick's visionary sci-fi epic, written by Arthur C. Clarke and Kubrick, presents an ambitious narrative spanning human evolution, lunar colonisation, and deep-space exploration toward Jupiter. The ensemble cast includes Keir Dullea, Gary Lockwood, William Sylvester, Daniel Richter, Leonard Rossiter, Robert Beatty, Margaret Tyzack, and Douglas Rain as the iconic voice of HAL 9000. Originally released in Cinerama in 1968 and nominated for Best Director, the film redefined science fiction cinema with its philosophical scope and groundbreaking visual design. This 2001 re-release poster captures the film's enduring cultural significance. The vintage print exhibits edge and fold wear, creasing in places, and pin holes from theatrical display.
