Written and directed by Woody Allen, A Midsummer Night's Sex Comedy is a 1982 romantic comedy starring Woody Allen, Mia Farrow, José Ferrer, Julie Hagerty, Tony Roberts and Mary Steenburgen.

Set during the early 20th century, the film follows three couples spending a summer weekend together at a country house, where romantic attractions, old relationships and sexual tensions increasingly complicate their idyllic retreat.

Loosely inspired by Ingmar Bergman's Smiles of a Summer Night, the film marked the first screen collaboration between Woody Allen and Mia Farrow and also features Julie Hagerty shortly after her breakthrough role in Airplane!.

This original British Quad features the distinctive poster design by Burt Kleeger.
