A rare British Quad poster from the 1930s advertising the beloved English pantomime "Babes in the Wood." This theatrical piece measures 30" x 40" (76 x 102 cm) and showcases striking period artwork depicting two children in a woodland setting, with two figures engaged in sword combat. Produced by the renowned Taylors of Wombwell during the late 1930s, this poster represents a piece of British theatrical history from the era of professional Christmas pantomimes. The poster shows authentic vintage wear including edge creasing and markings along the bottom border, consistent with its age and theatrical use.
