B.C. Rock is an irreverent prehistoric animated comedy directed by Belgian cartoonist and filmmaker Picha, known for his distinctive adult-oriented animation and satirical humour.

Originally released in 1980 as Le Chaînon manquant (The Missing Link), the film presents a wildly unconventional vision of prehistoric life, combining absurd comedy, colourful characters and the director's unmistakable cartoon style.

The story follows a prehistoric character through a series of bizarre encounters in a world populated by cavemen, dinosaurs and other fantastical creatures.

The American version was released under the title B.C. Rock in 1984, with an English-language voice cast including Bill Murray, John Candy, Gilda Radner and other comedy performers.

This original US theatrical poster features colourful illustrated artwork depicting prehistoric characters and creatures against a dramatic rocky landscape, with the film's title presented in large yellow lettering.

The artwork captures the film's unusual blend of prehistoric adventure, adult animation and offbeat comedy.

An appealing original 1980s cinema poster for collectors of cult animation, Picha's films and unusual vintage theatrical artwork.
