Original Russian theatrical poster for Burya nad Aziey (Storm Over Asia), a 1965 war thriller directed by Kamil Yarmatov. This folded cinema poster measures 25 1/2" x 40 1/2" (65 x 103 cm) and features artwork by Kovalenko. The film stars Shukir Burkhanov, Ruslan Akhmetov, Anatoli Solovyov, Abbas Bakirov, Naryman Latipov, and Aleksandr Barushnoy. The poster shows minor edge and fold creasing with small tears along the right border, consistent with vintage theatrical use and storage. A distinctive piece of Soviet-era cinema history from the mid-1960s.
