Directed by George Roy Hill, Butch Cassidy and the Sundance Kid is the classic 1969 American Western starring Paul Newman as Butch Cassidy and Robert Redford as the Sundance Kid.

Set during the final years of the American Old West, the film follows two charismatic outlaws as they evade a relentless posse and eventually flee to Bolivia in search of a new life.

The supporting cast includes Katharine Ross as Etta Place, with the film featuring Burt Bacharach's memorable song "Raindrops Keep Fallin' on My Head".

A landmark of American cinema, Butch Cassidy and the Sundance Kid won four Academy Awards, including Best Original Screenplay and Best Original Song.

This original 1973 US re-release poster features distinctive artwork of Newman and Redford together with the advertising tagline "Butch & The Kid Are Back!", produced to promote the film's return to American cinemas.
