Directed by Sidney Hayers from an original screenplay by George Baxt, Circus of Horrors is a classic 1960 British horror film starring Anton Diffring, Erika Remberg and Yvonne Monlaur, with Donald Pleasence, Jane Hylton and Kenneth Griffith among the supporting cast.

Anton Diffring stars as Dr Rossiter, a disgraced plastic surgeon who flees England and assumes a new identity in France. After becoming involved with a travelling circus, he uses his surgical skills to transform scarred women into beautiful performers for his increasingly successful "Temple of Beauty". When members of the troupe threaten to leave, however, they begin meeting with gruesome and suspicious accidents.

Combining circus spectacle, plastic surgery and lurid horror, Circus of Horrors became part of a distinctive period of British horror cinema and is regarded as the third film in Anglo-Amalgamated's so-called "Sadian trilogy", following Horrors of the Black Museum and Peeping Tom.

This original UK One Sheet was produced for a later theatrical re-release. The original 1960 British release was distributed by Anglo-Amalgamated, while this poster carries the later EMI Film Distributors Ltd credit.

The re-release uses a distinctive blue, black and white design featuring the slogans "The Greatest Horror Show on Earth" and "See It and Gasp!". The artwork differs substantially from the colourful advertising used for the film's original 1960 British release.
