Directed by Lewis Teague, Fighting Back is a gritty 1982 crime action thriller starring Tom Skerritt, Patti LuPone, Michael Sarrazin, Yaphet Kotto and David Rasche.

Tom Skerritt stars as Philadelphia shopkeeper John D'Angelo, who becomes increasingly frustrated by violent crime in his neighbourhood. Following an attack on his family, D'Angelo organises a group of local residents to fight back, but their vigilante campaign soon begins to spiral beyond its original intentions.

Directed by Lewis Teague, who later made Cujo, the film also features an early screen performance from Patti LuPone and a supporting role for Yaphet Kotto.

This original British Quad was issued under the UK theatrical title Death Vengeance, making the alternative title particularly important for identifying the British release poster.
