Directed by Herbert Ross, Goodbye, Mr. Chips (1969) stars Peter O'Toole, Petula Clark, Michael Redgrave, George Baker and Michael Bryant. Based on James Hilton's classic novel, this acclaimed musical drama tells the story of a shy schoolteacher whose life is transformed by love, spanning decades of friendship, loss and devotion. Peter O'Toole received an Academy Award nomination for his performance.
