This is a genuine theatrical-release movie poster produced for the film's first Italian cinema release in 1978, not a reproduction.

Format: Italian Two-Panel (4 Fogli)
Size: 55 x 78 inches (140 x 198 cm)

Condition: Edge and fold wear with small tears and creasing. Small areas of separation at some fold meet points. Some discolouration along fold lines.

Directed by and starring Mel Brooks, High Anxiety (1977) also features Madeline Kahn, Cloris Leachman, Harvey Korman, Dick Van Patten, Ron Carey and Howard Morris. A loving spoof of Alfred Hitchcock's suspense classics, particularly Vertigo, Spellbound and Psycho, the film blends mystery, comedy and thriller elements in one of Brooks' most inventive parodies.

This original Italian two-panel features artwork by Robert Tanenbaum and was printed in two overlapping sections, as issued for theatrical display. Large-format Italian posters are especially sought after by collectors for their impressive display size and distinctive country-of-origin artwork.
