Written, produced and directed by Larry Cohen, It's Alive is a 1974 American horror film starring John Ryan, Sharon Farrell, Andrew Duggan, Guy Stockwell, James Dixon and Michael Ansara.

John Ryan and Sharon Farrell play Frank and Lenore Davis, whose newborn child is revealed to be a murderous mutant. After escaping from the hospital, the infant leaves a trail of deaths while its parents struggle with the horrifying consequences of its existence.

Featuring an original score by legendary composer Bernard Herrmann and makeup effects by Rick Baker, It's Alive became a cult favourite and launched a series of killer-baby horror films from Larry Cohen.

Originally released in 1974, the film found greater commercial success when Warner Bros. subsequently returned it to American cinemas.
