Directed by Zhang Yimou, Not One Less (1999) is an acclaimed Chinese drama starring Wei Minzhi, Zhang Huike, Tian Zhenda, Gao Enman and Sun Zhimei. Set in rural China, the film follows a 13-year-old substitute teacher who is instructed not to lose a single pupil from her class and sets out to find a student who leaves for the city in search of work.

Using a largely non-professional cast whose characters share their real names, Zhang Yimou combines drama with a naturalistic depiction of rural education and poverty in contemporary China.

Not One Less won the Golden Lion at the 1999 Venice International Film Festival. This original Italian Locandina is an appealing piece for collectors of Chinese cinema, Zhang Yimou films, award-winning international cinema and original Italian theatrical posters.
