An original French theatrical poster for The Adventure of Sherlock Holmes' Smarter Brother (1975), Gene Wilder's comedic take on Arthur Conan Doyle's detective canon. This folded affiche from the 1976 French release measures 23¾" × 31¼" (60 × 79 cm) and promotes Wilder's directorial effort, which he also wrote and starred in as Sigerson Holmes. The supporting cast includes Madeline Kahn, Marty Feldman, Dom DeLuise, Leo McKern as Moriarty, and Douglas Wilmer as Sherlock Holmes. The poster balances mystery and humour, reflecting the film's genre-blending approach. Condition is excellent with only minor edge wear; the artwork remains vibrant. A delightful artefact of mid-1970s French cinema distribution and literary adaptation comedy.
