An original 1977 British Quad movie poster for Stand Up Virgin Soldiers, signed by lead actor Robin Askwith.

This is a genuine theatrical-release poster, printed for the film's original British cinema release.

Format: British Quad
Size: 30 x 40 inches (76 x 102 cm)

Condition: Signed by Robin Askwith in black marker across the centre of the poster. Tear along the right-centre fold line, taped on the reverse. Pin holes in each corner with some associated paper loss from removal. Edge wear with small tears and creasing, plus small holes at some fold meet points. Light brown age-related staining and discolouration, most noticeable around the borders and lower section. Formerly folded and now stored rolled.

Directed by Norman Cohen, Stand Up Virgin Soldiers (1977) is a British comedy based on Leslie Thomas's novel. Starring Robin Askwith, Nigel Davenport, George Layton, John Le Mesurier, Warren Mitchell, Robin Nedwell, Edward Woodward, Irene Handl, Lynda Bellingham, Pamela Stephenson and Fiesta Mei Ling, it is a British military comedy set during National Service.
