Directed by Craig R. Baxley, Stone Cold is a 1991 American action thriller starring former professional American football player Brian Bosworth in his feature-film debut.
Bosworth plays Joe Huff, a tough, unconventional police officer who is recruited to infiltrate a violent outlaw motorcycle gang known as the Brotherhood.
Operating undercover as John Stone, Huff gains the trust of the gang's ruthless leader Chains Cooper, played by Lance Henriksen, and his dangerous second-in-command Ice, played by William Forsythe.
As Huff becomes increasingly involved in the gang's activities, he discovers a deadly plot that threatens to escalate into an explosive confrontation.
The supporting cast includes Arabella Holzbog, Sam McMurray and Illana Diamant, credited in the film as Illana Shoshan.
Combining spectacular motorcycle stunts, explosive action sequences and the larger-than-life style of early-1990s American action cinema, Stone Cold has developed a cult following among enthusiasts of the genre.
Released in Italy as Forza d'Urto, this original theatrical poster features striking artwork dominated by Brian Bosworth wearing reflective sunglasses and a studded leather jacket, with motorcycle gangs approaching from either side.
The bold composition and metallic blue Italian title lettering make this a particularly distinctive example of early-1990s action-film advertising.
Produced in the large Italian 4-Fogli format, the poster consists of two printed sections designed to overlap when displayed.
An impressive original theatrical poster for collectors of Brian Bosworth, Lance Henriksen, cult action films, motorcycle cinema and vintage Italian movie poster artwork.
