Directed by Joe Roth, Streets of Gold is a 1986 boxing drama starring Klaus Maria Brandauer, Adrian Pasdar, Wesley Snipes, Ángela Molina and Elya Baskin.

Klaus Maria Brandauer stars as Alek Neuman, a disillusioned Soviet émigré and former boxer living in New York. After meeting two promising young fighters, Timmy Boyle and Roland Jenkins, he begins training them for a series of bouts against a visiting Soviet team.

Adrian Pasdar plays Timmy, while Wesley Snipes appears as Roland Jenkins in one of his earliest feature-film roles.

Set against New York's boxing scene, Streets of Gold combines sports drama with Alek's struggle to rebuild his life in America while confronting his past and his complicated relationship with the Soviet system he left behind.
