Directed by Robert Mulligan, The Stalking Moon is a 1968 Western starring Gregory Peck, Eva Marie Saint and Robert Forster.

Gregory Peck stars as Sam Varner, a retiring U.S. Army scout who agrees to help Sarah Carver, played by Eva Marie Saint, and her young son escape to safety after they are found among a group of Apache prisoners.

Their journey becomes increasingly dangerous when they are pursued by the boy's father, a feared Apache warrior determined to reclaim his son. Robert Forster co-stars as fellow scout Nick Tana.

Based on the novel by T. V. Olsen, The Stalking Moon reunited director Robert Mulligan and producer Alan J. Pakula, with a screenplay by Alvin Sargent and Wendell Mayes.

This original British Double Crown is a smaller-format theatrical poster produced for the film's UK cinema campaign.
