Directed by Jeremy Kagan, The Sting II is a 1983 crime comedy starring Jackie Gleason, Mac Davis, Teri Garr, Karl Malden and Oliver Reed.

A sequel to the Academy Award-winning The Sting, the film returns to the world of elaborate confidence tricks with a new cast playing characters based on those from the original. Jackie Gleason stars as veteran con man Fargo Gondorff, with Mac Davis as Jake Hooker and Teri Garr as Veronica.

The pair become involved in an elaborate scheme targeting ruthless gangster Doyle Lonnegan, played by Oliver Reed, while Karl Malden appears as Gus Macalinski.

Written by David S. Ward, who also wrote the original film, The Sting II combines period crime, gambling and comedy in another story of increasingly elaborate deception.
