Size: 55 x 78 inches (140 x 198 cm)

Condition: Edge and fold wear with small tears and creasing around the border. Discolouration is present along the fold lines.

Released in France as L'Histoire d'Adèle H., The Story of Adele H. (1975) was directed by François Truffaut and stars Isabelle Adjani, Bruce Robinson, Sylvia Marriott, Joseph Blatchley and Ivy Gitlis. Based on the true story of Adèle Hugo, daughter of Victor Hugo, the film follows her obsessive pursuit of a British officer, resulting in one of French cinema's most acclaimed psychological dramas.

This original Italian two-panel poster was printed in two overlapping sections, as issued for theatrical display. Large-format Italian posters are especially prized by collectors for their impressive display size and striking artwork. Isabelle Adjani received an Academy Award nomination for Best Actress for her acclaimed performance.
