This is a genuine theatrical-release Italian re-release movie poster, produced for a 1973 Italian cinema re-release of Walt Disney's Song of the South (1946), not a reproduction.

Format: Italian Two-Panel (4 Fogli)
Size: 55 x 78 inches (140 x 198 cm)

Condition: Edge and fold wear with some discolouration along the fold lines.

Directed by Harve Foster and Wilfred Jackson, Walt Disney's Song of the South (1946) stars James Baskett, Ruth Warrick, Bobby Driscoll, Luana Patten, Lucile Watson and Hattie McDaniel. Combining live action with animation, the film adapts the Uncle Remus stories by Joel Chandler Harris and introduced the Academy Award-winning song "Zip-a-Dee-Doo-Dah".

This original Italian two-panel poster was produced for a 1973 theatrical re-release and was printed in two overlapping sections, as issued for cinema display. Large-format Italian re-release posters are especially sought after for their impressive display size and distinctive artwork.
